|SPRING PRAISE CELEBRATION|
|On Sunday 27 May at 7pm Upper Donside Parish Church are holding a "Spring Praise Celebration" led by Howe Praise from our congregation. All welcome.|
|GUILD CHRISTIAN AID COFFEE EVENING|
|The annual Guild Christian Aid Coffee Evening will take place on Monday 21 May at 7.30pm in the church with renowned singer/storyteller Grace Banks and The Tullynessle Singers, followed by refreshments in the church hall. Tickets are now on sale from Guild committee members at £5.|
|At Howe Trinity we have a particular link with the Aberdeen Synagogue, through their President, Mark Taylor, and his wife Debby, who live in Alford. The Synagogue has recently been renovated following a devastating flood. To celebrate the renovations, the Synagogue is holding a Rededication and Open Weekend from 25 - 27 May with special services on the Saturday, and an open day on the Sunday. 74 Dee Street, Aberdeen, AB11 6DS. |YEAR OF YOUNG PEOPLE|
|2018 has been designated "Year of Young People" by the Scottish Government. The Church of Scotland is engaging fully in this special year. Find links on the home page of the Church of Scotland website here|
|As part of the weekly notices, there will be an "sharing time" slot available each week. This can be used for example, by leaders of groups or organisations in the church to publicise forthcoming events, or by church members to draw attention to events or situations in the wider Christian world, or by members or friends of Howe Trinity who would like to share an aspect of their faith with the wider congregation. To book a slot, please contact the minister - there will normally be only one slot available each week.|

|PRAYER MEETING & WEDNESDAY EVENING STUDY GROUP|
Meetings - Howe Trinity now meets for prayer, in the lounge, on Sunday
mornings from 9.30 - 9.50am, and on Tuesday evenings from 6.45 - 7.15pm. Please

The Wednesday Evening Study Group is the new name for the former "House Group". It provides an opportunity to meet other people in a relaxed atmosphere and develop friendships. It is an opportunity for bible study, in which everyone can contribute their thoughts. It is an opportunity for the honest facing of doubts and questions. It is a place for encouragement and mutual support. It is a place where people can come and just be, secure in the knowledge that they are accepted just as they are.
You are welcome to join us every Wednesday Evening (during school term time) at 7.30pm in the Church Hall Lounge.

|HOWE TRINITY LIBRARY|
Church Library contains a wide range of books relevant to the Christian faith,
available to friends and members of Howe Trinity. The Library will be open in
the church hall on the first Sunday of every month, but books can be borrowed
at any time, for up to one month. Donations or loans of books to the library
are always welcome. We hope you will enjoy and benefit from this resource.

|Audio recording of the Sunday sevice has now resumed. If you would like a copy on CD, either on a regular basis, or only on one occasion, please let us know. |Post your stamps in the letter box in the vestibule (remember to leave a ¼" of paper round the stamp). These are forwarded to the Council of World Mission's Stamp Bureau. The beneficiaries of the Stamp appeal change each year.|
