This page is to inform members of the Howe Trinity Parish of things which affect the Church or Parish. It can be the details of a forthcoming meeting or event or maybe a plea for help of some kind.
Howe Trinity now benefits from "easyfundraising" https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ Many online retailers subscribe to the scheme and give a small percentage to charities which register with it, including Howe Trinity.
Ali Webber is now in charge of organising our used stamp collection which each year raises funds for a different World Mission project. Make sure you save the stamps from your Christmas cards (a 1/4 inch margin, but don't cut the perforations off) and put them in the letterbox in the vestibule.
Thank you to all who donated to our special Christmas charities over Christmas. The total raised from our "Christmas Card Collection" for the Aberdeenshire North Food Bank was £201.05. The total from our Christian Aid collection at the Watchnight and Christmas Day services, along with the "Small Change, Big Difference" collection boxes was £477.72. The total from the Scottish Bible Society collection boxes was £26.97
As part of the weekly notices, there will be an "sharing time" slot available each week. This can be used for example, by leaders of groups or organisations in the church to publicise forthcoming events, or by church members to draw attention to events or situations in the wider Christian world, or by members or friends of Howe Trinity who would like to share an aspect of their faith with the wider congregation. To book a slot, please contact the minister - there will normally be only one slot available each week.

The Wednesday Evening Study Group is the new name for the former "House Group". It provides an opportunity to meet other people in a relaxed atmosphere and develop friendships. It is an opportunity for bible study, in which everyone can contribute their thoughts. It is an opportunity for the honest facing of doubts and questions. It is a place for encouragement and mutual support. It is a place where people can come and just be, secure in the knowledge that they are accepted just as they are.
You are welcome to join us every Wednesday Evening (during school term time) at 7.30pm in the Church Hall Lounge.
